Considering selling trading my 1990 Jeep Comanche Pioneer. It was a bone stock 2wd when I got it. The owner before me was an older man who just drove it to town every few days. I installed a 91’ 4wd trans with a 231 Tcase. I built the entire thing with top quality parts, and no shortcuts were taken. I swapped a lot of the interior with wagoneer xj pieces because I wanted it to be two-tone along with the luxury maroon from this time period instead of just the basic gray most of these have. I also converted the door panels for the manual windows. Installed a chrome front bumper, grill, headlight bezels, mirrors, factory rain guards and drip rails. I have a bunch of extra parts that can go with it such as a leer fiberglass camper shell, wheel studs, extra 8.25 axle shaft etc I have tons lol. Its a 32 year old truck; so it isn’t perfect but it’s very nice for the age. It gets compliments everywhere it goes. I’ve only taken it off-road twice ever. 97% of the things I’m going to list below have less than 4,500 miles on them. I can only add 20 pictures here but I have probably a couple hundred of the build process. I’m in no rush at all to get rid of it so please don’t lowball. Will negotiate in person. Asking $18,500 obo . Most likely won’t trade, but I’ll consider trades for sxs, Chevy V8 trucks, 1860 center console xpress/war eagle, etc. I can add cash for the right deal.
1990 Jeep Comanche. 215k on the dash (175k on the trans, unsure on the motor. It has green markings on the block to make me wonder if it’s a junkyard motor perhaps, not real sure. I’m sure I’m forgetting a few things.
Cons: Valve cover gasket needs replaced, I have a felpro gasket I’ll include if I don’t get around to replacing it. Either the belt or one of the pulleys squeaks, haven’t looked into it too much. Heat doesn’t work. It’ll blow, just isn’t hot. Haven’t looked into that either. Not sure if it’s the heater core, or if it just needs flushed or what. Although the A/C works great and is cold. Asking 18,500.
