I have a 1990 Ford F-150 truck for sale. This was originally a 2WD, 6 cylinder, automatic truck, that has been converted to a 4WD, 4 speed manual, with a 351 Windsor powerplant and a roughly 6-inch lift. Therefore, the truck is titled as a 2WD truck if that matters to you. The engine was rebuilt roughly 6,000 miles ago and has MSD ignition and a Edelbrock 4 bbl carb.
I have had several parts of the truck "Linex", including the bed, both bumpers, front grill, both mirrors, fog light housings, and door steps. Most of the front suspension has been refurbed, as well as the rear diff, all 4 shocks, and front stabilizer. The intermediate steering shaft has been replaced and the entire steering column rebuilt. All that said, the front end still seems somewhat vague in steering response and handling and I think it would need a straight axle conversion to really dial in the front end. This truck has NO EMISSIONS....so if that is an issue in your county, this truck is a no-go for you. It has dual exhaust straight into dual magna flow mufflers with exhaust "turned down" right in front of rear axle.
Truck has 33x13.50x50 Mud Grappler tires on it with Pro Comp wheels and Pro Comp shocks. I have replaced the front light housings and fuel sender has been replaced so gas gauge works. The aux. fuel tank has been removed in favor of a spare tire under the truck. The truck has a rock solid body, but needs a repaint. It does have some dents, scratches, etc., but I do have a brand new tailgate and front passenger quarter panel, which are the 2 worst areas on the truck. These panels are included in the sale. This truck is a decent driver, but does not get very good mileage if that is a concern. It's not a truck that you're going to want to commute everyday in.
Biggest Cons of the truck are: Blower motor has been bypassed to a toggle switch, so it's either on high or not at all. This is a non-AC truck. Stereo/ speaker wiring needs to be replaced. Seat needs reupholstered. Automatic door locks currently not working. 4 Speed Tranny seems like it came out of a box truck....very vague...might just need some adjustment, but this truck would also benefit from a 5 speed conversion. Final financial transaction will happen at a bank. Asking 7,000.
