Selling my 1965 Ford F100. “Stage 1” of the build recently finished by local fabrication shop. This was intended to be the first stage of the build, to get it on the road, then I was going to dive deeper into the suspension to get it more dialed in for the dunes or the desert, but plans have changed and I need to sell the mud truck.
The good. 1965 F100 Stepside short bed 2wd. Low miles big block 460 swap with Autofab heavy duty motor mounts. New 5" Autofab lift kit with new I-beams and extended radius arms. New 35” BF Goodrich mud terrains. New American Racing AR23 wheels 15x10. Front disc brake conversion with brand new rotors, calipers, and pads. New master cylinder. All new brake lines front to back. New rear brake wheel cylinders. New shocks . Crane PowerMax Cam and Lifters.
Hydraulic Flat Tappet, Advertised Duration 260/272, Lift .487/.518. Edelbrock Performer Intake. New Edelbrock 650 carb with electric choke. New ceramic coated Hedman headers. New MSD Pro Billet distributor. New. MSD Super Conductor plug wires . New MSD Blaster 2 coil . New 140 amp alternator. New fabricated valve covers. New rear mounted gas tank. New Edelbrock Performer RPM fuel pump. New fuel sending unit. New fuel lines from tank to carb. New aluminum radiator from Speedway. New transmission auxiliary cooler. New 3” dual exhaust with crossover pipe. New Flowmaster mufflers (2). New custom driveshaft. New battery. New Winters Sidewinder shifter on custom console. Newly upholstered seat. New seat belts. New suede Grant steering wheel. Two full size spares on steel wheels. I still have the original tailgate and rear bumper.
The bad. Some rust in the roof gutter. Left door vent glass missing. Salvage title due to careless driver denting the fender about 12 years ago. No frame or structural damage as a result of accident. Since then the engine/transmission, suspension, wheels/tires, and brakes have all been replaced.
I’ve got over $15k invested into this thing. Truck has a really cool patina to it, and is a ton of fun to drive. Please reply to ad with any questions.
