1983 Chevy blazer. Smog exempt because it's a diesel. The 6.2 diesel was switched out for a 6.5 non-turbo diesel at some point. Runs awesome, makes good power, and doesn't smoke or have trouble starting, even in below freezing temps. Lots has been done to this rig, for example: Offroad Design crossover steering. There is absolutely zero bump-steer and you can hurtle it up windy roads with one finger on the steering wheel. 4" Skyjacker Softride all-spring lift (no blocks.). New Skyjacker Blackmax shocks all around. New Brake calipers, pads, shoes, springs, drums, and braided steel brake lines. Every suspension/steering component is new, including the steering box. Everything is from the brand Moog or Offroad Design. ORD Steering box brace. Frame was checked for cracks when installed, and there are zero. New Cooper 35" mud tires. Completely rebuilt 12 bolt rear end with Yukon ring and pinion (4:10 gears), Yukon 1541H axle shafts, Powertrax No-Slip locker. Low miles front Dana 44 with 4.10s. Rebuilt NP241 with Tom Woods slip yoke eliminator. Tom Woods custom rear driveshaft with double cardan joint. Absolutely no driveshaft vibrations. Rebuilt TH400 with shift kit, B&M cast aluminum deep pan, braided stainless cooler lines, large auxiliary cooler. Less than 300 miles on rebuild and still under warranty. CFMI winch cradle with Smittybuilt X2O - 10k lb winch with synthetic rope.
Listing it for $12,000. Will entertain in-person offers. I have that much into it just in parts, and just in last 6 months. It has a clean title in my name, it's registered until October 2024, and it never has to be smogged. It's obviously not a show truck but it is a dependable wheeler/driver, built properly with nice components and not crappy budget-brand parts. Since it's smog exempt, you can do whatever engine mods you want to it (or change the engine completely) and never have to worry about smogging it. It's my daily driver so miles will be added to it. I am only listing it for sale to fund other projects.
