1990 Toyota Pickup V6 5 speed Deluxe.

Clear Blue Texas title in my name. Had kid, need money more than toys. You know the story. Lots of good stuff on this truck. It came to Texas from the Pacific Northwest back in like 2010.

Engine is the V6 3VZE 3.0 liter - it was just rebuilt (less than 500 miles since rebuild) and sounds wicked with a custom exhaust. Rebuild includes new bearings all around, head gaskets, all new other gaskets, some new sensors, block was deep cleaned and honed with new stock sized piston rings, upgraded LCE valve train, water pump, and oil pump. Brand new radiator, clutch-less fan, alternator, steering box, group 34 battery, silicone hoses, and belts.

Solid axle swapped; front axle is out of a 1985 Toyota Pickup, the most desired year for a SAS donor. It was originally put together by Trail Gear and is trussed. The rear leaf springs were moved to the front of the truck, shock hoops were welded into the frame with Bilstein shocks, and hi-steer conversion was added. Front third member is also a high pinion, has ARB air locker, six-shooter knuckles, 5.29 gears, and all new brakes. Brand new steering box has been installed and moved forward 2”-3” from the stock location.

Rear axle has a Detroit locker, 5.29 gears, and rebuilt drum brakes. Less than 5,000 miles on both axle third members. Axle shafts are stock as far as I know, but looked great when installing the third members. Rear suspension is lift blocks with Chevy 62” leaf springs with Bilstein shocks.

Extended diff breathers on both front and rear axles. Transmission is the indestructible R150F, stock with 152,250 miles. Brand new clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, and master cylinder. New fluids all the way around (engine oil, coolant, transmission, transfer case, front/rear axle, brake/clutch).

Currently the truck has 37x12.5R16.5 Goodyear Wrangler Military OZ tires that are cracked and old. Ready for new 37’s, 38’s, or 40’s. Front bumper is made by All-Pro and is ready for a winch. I have a Smittybilt 9500 that I’ll throw in if I get a fair price for this truck. Rear bumper is custom made and ready for an up to 40” tire spare. Rear bumper has compartments for a Yeti Roadie 20, three jerry cans, and a small propane bottle.

Interior is pretty solid for a 30 year old truck. Front driver, middle seat, and center console is out of a newer Ford Ranger, it’s very comfortable. Passenger seat is the original from 1990 and not in terrible shape. Pioneer double din head unit with Kicker 8” sub under the passenger seat. It hits hard especially with the small cabin space. Custom black aluminum diamond plate door panels with sound deadened installed behind them. Driver’s side interior door handle works, but is broken.

There’s still some work that needs to be done to this to make it reliably trail ready, but it’s about 98% there. Paint is rough, it needs an on board air compressor for the front locker, Tom Woods front driveline (square tubing front driveshaft is not so great), new tires, some rear brake work regarding the LSPV, and bead locks to be “trail ready” in my opinion.

Would possibly be interested in partial trades but need at least $5,000 cash on your end. Let me know what you have. I don’t care about guns but might entertain two-wheeled things with engines or a Land Cruiser. Asking 9000.
