"Coyote" from Northern New Mexico. Solid old truck with solid front axle, camper shell and heavy-duty back bumper. Daily driver that I would take anywhere at highway speeds or in low range.
All original, except new cylinder head, fuel pump, oil pump, water pump, LCE 2-row timing chain, timing cover, camshaft, LCE intake manifold, Hedman header, exhaust system, front bumper, battery, fan, fan clutch, distributor, fuel filter, wires, belts, hoses, oil pan, 31x10.5x15 Wheelwright All Terrains, and American Racing rims, all within the last 10-15k miles.
Strong motor with original carb and manual choke. Can be hard starting in the morning, with a little smoke until it warms up. Carb rebuild and new valve guides should fix that. Compression is good. Once started and warm, it runs and starts like a champ throughout the day.
Could also use new driver door window crank handle, and screens and back window for the camper shell. From New Mexico, so the dash has the typical NM splits. There are a couple of rock dents behind the passenger door, and one at the rear left corner below the left tail light, as well as two small patches of surface rust on the outside seams of the bed. Body is otherwise pristine. Original "4WD" mud flaps. Asking 9,800.
