I have decided to test the market again with my 1978 ford F250. Most of the specifics are enclosed. If you're still interested after reading it please respond accordingly.
1978 FORD F250 Ranger 4X4.
Please take your time to read though the Specs to get an idea of how much has been put into this vehicle. I have rebuilt just about everything from the ground up on this truck and if your into these trucks I think you'll enjoy this one.
Paint/body: Classic factory Two tone deep red and black done in 2020.
Engine: Original 400 M 6.6 L with less than 4000 miles on the rebuild.
Fuel delivery: Holley sniper stealth 4500 with hyper fuel auxiliary submerged fuel tank/pump for high volume supply 38 gallon rear fuel tank.
Holley Hyperspark with electronically controlled timing distributor (not in picture).
Transmission: rebuilt C6 transmission with high stall torque converter.
Exhaust: full length header back custom exhaust with x pipe.
Brakes: heavy duty disc brake conversion with emergency cable adapter for drivability and safety.
Tires: 35” BF goodrich mud Terrain.
Transfer case: NP205 with Divorced twin stick modification.
Axles: front Dana 44 rear Dana 60.
Lift: front and rear 4” soft ride leaf spring suspension lift kit and a 1.5 inch leveling kit for the body With front axle stabilization kit (Dual dampened).
Electrical: American auto wire OEM replacement harness and update kit. Fully functional gage cluster, tachometer, oil pressure, temperature, voltage indicators.
Fully Converted LED lights (all 4 corners) with modern converted head light housings that house both traditional and LED projection beams.
On board air: tank and pump for reliable vacuum supply for brakes and heat/cooling controls etc.
Fully rebuilt factor A/C truck with working heat.
In general this truck is a great driver. This is not to say that it is in show condition there is a few imperfections that could be addressed. I want to convey that this truck will have imperfections. The paint is good shape but not perfect. The drivers side door needs to be realigned a bit so it can more easily open and close . The engine is clean but as you can see isn't show quality per se but certainly looks better than most. Now saying that I regularly start this truck up and immediately drive it down the road without fail.
