1973 Ford F250 HIGHBOY. Featuring a 360CI V8, and only 16,000 miles. This 1973 F250 was specially ordered as a brush truck for the Upperville VA Volunteer Fire Department. It was purchased in May of 1973 from John Hadert Ford in Purcellville VA.
The truck Runs & Drives well, but I simply do not have a use for it. I am hoping someone will purchase the truck that really appreciates it the way it should be. The 4 speed manual shifts well, and the locking hubs work fine as well.
I have owned the truck for the last 17 years, and last year did a tune up including the following parts Oil pressure sending unit, distributor cap, rotor, plugs, plug wires, belts, crank position sensor, starter, starter solenoid, voltage regulator, capacitor, fuel pump, blower motor, air filter, heater core, ignition coil, breaker points, and battery. I also put on a set of 37X12.50R17 Ironman All Country Tires & Black Rock Wheels.
I have the original build sheet for the truck which includes the following
- F262 133 Cust Styleside Pickup
- Special Paint
- 7700 GVW Package
- Engine 360-V8
- Ammeter & Oil Pressure Gauge
